Jennifer E. Smith and Stephanie Perkins were one of the first YA contemporary authors I’ve read, and I enjoyed each one of their books immensely. In many ways, they are why I fell in love with reading YA lit.
Because of that, I was super pleased to see that Jennifer E. Smith is releasing a new book. The title sounds good, the cover looks gorgeous, the plot seems exciting! It also features the best friends-to-lovers trope, which I am an absolute sucker for.
However, let me be honest and say that I have mixed feelings with this one…
