In what looks like a tiny, nondescript space along Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok, there is a well-known haven among and for book lovers called Dasa Book Cafe. It houses three floors worth of books, magazines and CDs, and is open to trades and consignment. The prices seem fair, given that most books are rare or hard-to-find editions. And just in case you’re looking for particular titles, let the staff know. They are more than willing to help, and talk about books and the community they have built over the years. Any reader would love to spend hours, even days, in this book cafe, so if you’re one and is in the city for business or leisure, make sure to squeeze this place in your itinerary. ☁
