It all happened like this:

The night sky requested someone

So it’ll no longer be alone.

And then there you came.

You became The Star

In the darkest of days.

You became Daylight

Through the blackest of heavens.

It all happened like this:

A “being” wished to have someone

So that he will no longer be alone.

And then, there you came.

I tried to reach you,

Hoping that someday you’ll fall.

And then, I’ll catch you.

But no, I couldn’t do that,

I couldn’t take you away from the night sky.

I couldn’t take you away from all the people,

Gazing at you each and every night.

(But thank you for being my Polaris.)
