Bookbed is indeed turning 10 (!) this July and we’re celebrating with another year of the #AReaderEveryDay book drive, #BookbedFictory, and #BookbedMeets. Help us help others (and one another!) by participating in our activities this month. Info below!
#AReaderEveryDay Cotabato
We are accepting books for children and young adult for a community beneficiary in Cotabato City. Because of the pandemic, there will be no drop-off points. Donors will need to ship donations and shoulder the fees. Thank you for understanding!
If interested to donate, message us here.

#BookbedFictory: Writing Stories for a Cause
Edit 07/30/2020: Read published fics here.
Submit a 1000-word story based on our prompts and we will donate to your chosen beneficiary. The link to prompts and more details is here. Please note that we can afford to donate P100 for every submitted fic.
Stories must: 1) be original, 2) contain a maximum of 1,000 words, 3) be in English or Filipino, and 4) reflect chosen prompt, no matter how loosely.
No beta reading will be required. Bookbed will fix minor grammar and typographical errors. Otherwise, the fic will be published as is.
To all writers whose work will be published on Bookbed, after your work appears on our site, you are free to republish it on your own or in a separate website/publication. If you do so, please credit it as first appearing in Fictory: A Bookbed Fic Fest and message us here to notify us of the publication.

#BookbedMeets
This pandemic is hard on all of us, but if an afternoon of reading and meeting fellow readers can help even just a teeny bit, then why not? Join us on July 18 (Saturday) at 5 p.m. for a session, silent book club style. Sign up here!

For inquires and other concerns, reach us here. Excited to have you along!
